Policy Mapping: A Global Overview
The Global Observatory maps national policies related to gender equality, women, girls, physical education, physical activity, and sport (PEPAS) as part of the initiative to track progress of governments in implementing measures to eliminated all forms of discrimination against women and girls for more equitable sporting cultures. The mapping includes commitments to international and regional frameworks, national legislation, policies, and action plans related to physical education, physical activity, and sport (PEPAS). The Global Observatory knowledge hub includes results of the mapping of ten countries. Explore the frameworks, the thematic areas, and national policies and action plans to get inspired by progress and understand what improvements are still required to achieve gender equality in and through sport.
